1. Retarget Visitors on Facebook

You can easily create a Facebook retargeting campaign and get setup the same day. Don't overthink it, just get it setup to show an ad to users who visit your page. Most won't buy on the first visit and you can put it right back in front of them for pennies, increasing your chance of getting a conversion.


2. Save money when retargeting

This happens all too often. Even larger companies get lazy and don't setup their pixels to stop retargeting a visitor to buy product B after they buy product B.


Stop retargeting people to buy a product they have already purchased from you!


You can setup your thank you page to notify Facebook that they bought product B so it will turn off retargeting for that user, on that product. Why would you keep buying ads to sell them a product they have already bought from you?


This is when you should automatically start showing them ads for your other products.


3. Using email with retargeting

This is COOL!


You can get previous visitors who never saw your pixel on any extremely targeted retargeting list you want.


Just email them a link to visit a page to watch a video or read an update etc.


You will have placed new retargeting pixel on the page about marketing to dog lovers and the email you sent them says that if you are a dog lover you need to go watch this quick video.

4. Segment users based on engagement

I know that sounds complicated but it really is not.


Visitors who only visit your front page are less engaged than those who visited into the 3rd step of your funnel.


Someone who buys your most expensive product should ideally be on a retargeting list where you are promoting high ticket upsells and offers as they will be most likely to convert.


Email people who bought your first product but not your second. The landing page you send them to that promotes product B will have a unique pixel on it so that if they don’t buy (95% or more don’ t buy on the first visit) you can then have a retargeting ad follow them around on Facebook other big sites all over the internet for your product C.

Don’t be one of the peope who refuse to promote or work with competitors in any way. That is short sighted. I've made hundreds of thousands of dollars by passively promoting my competitors to my prospects over the last 25 years of working online.


5. Rotate your Ads

Retargeting ads can get burnt out quick as they are only being shown to the same people over and over. Use multiple creatives for each link. This will maximize your reach and help you pull clicks from your retargeting ads.


6. Incentivize visitors

Offer an exclusive discount for retargeted visitors. This gives a real scarcity element to your ads and will trigger people to go ahead and buy if they feel like they found a secret discount that most people do not get to use.


7. Rotate similar offers

If you are selling photocopiers you could easily use retargeting to send ads for different brands of copiers and maybe even link out to one on Amazon where you are an affiliate so you can make passive commisssions.


The Amazon affiliate program pays out millions of dollars a year to affiliates and these people are going to buy that stuff anyway so why shouldn't you get a percentage?


The possibilities of this technique are incredible.


8. Use PPV Networks To Find Passionate Users

PPV is not as popular as it was years ago but you can still build huge retargeting lists for pennies on the dollar.


Simply setup pages that are specific to markets. Say you want to target cat lovers so you setup a page that has alof of compelling kitty content and put a retargeting pixel on it. Send PPV traffic for pennies each and you can build a retargeting list of tens of thousands of people for a few bucks.


9. Retarget Customers For Your Upsells

Setup Retargeting ads for all your customers with ads for your high ticket upsells. This allows you to have ads for your highest price, and highest margin, products follow around your customers all over the internet.


10. Insert Your Retargeting Code On Other Sites

If you have a site that you buy ads from and it works well ask if you can insert a retargeting code on their site for a few dollars a week.


It will be invisible on their site so they won't charge you much or may even put it up for free.
